About Erica

Erica Lugemye

Erica was born into a musical family, as both her father and mother were singers/ musicians. They impacted her with a passion to worship Jesus and to see the nations worship Him. At the age of 10 Erica felt a call to missions. At 19 she left home and began to join the ministry of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). In 1998, she went through their Discipleship Training School in Kona, Hawaii. From there, she led teams of short-term missionaries to nations such as Lebanon, Egypt, Hong Kong, Thailand, The Philippines, India and more.

While in YWAM, Erica taught herself how to play the guitar, with a desire to be able to sing and worship no matter where she was. Recognizing her musical gift and passion for worship, she was encouraged by those around her to lead worship. A call she reluctantly accepted; but soon realized it was God’s doing as the intersection of worship and missions became ever more clear to her. Erica’s passion is to see a global network of missionaries and worshipers working together to make Jesus known to the nations. Erica’s desire for the church is that she (the church) would experience intimacy in passionate worship of Jesus.

Erica has been involved in four CD projects. Her first full length CD, Home, was released in 2009. In 2009 Erica married Moses Lugemye, merging with his ministry to form their current assignment. Erica and Moses currently serve as the worship pastors at The Springs Church in Chandler Arizona, and International Bible Church in Tempe Arizona.
